Video volunteers wanted
The Children’s Diabetes Centre is looking for patient volunteers to take part in a new series of educational films looking at diabetes self-management.
The films will tackle blood glucose levels, insulin administration and pump site changes and will also look at what diabetes is from a young person’s perspective.

Teens and diabetes workshop
The PMH diabetes team will be holding a family workshop on Type 1 Diabetes and adolescence on Wednesday, July 12, from 6pm to 7.30pm.
On the agenda will be topics relevant to teenage years and its influence on diabetes management, education updates as well as the opportunity to meet families living with Type 1 Diabetes.
The talk will take place in the Macdonald Lecture Theatre at PMH (enter from Roberts Road, opposite the Telethon Kids Institute at pedestrian crossing).
